The rooms are spread across the main house and the thatched wing, which makes the guesthouse unusually good at absorbing a large group. Families book the lot; couples book the Owl Room and pretend nobody else is here.
Every room is en-suite with a coffee and tea station and a bar fridge. Most look out over the water; all of them open onto the estate, where the game wanders through at its own pace.

Our suite, and the best view on the property. A king-size bed and a generous sitting area sit under a vaulted ceiling, and the whole room opens onto a private balcony looking out across the water. The walk-in shower and dressing area make it the natural choice for a special occasion.
