The dining room opens onto the water, which means breakfast comes with a view and dinner comes with a sunset. Everything is cooked here, from a full breakfast buffet through to plated dinners.

We cook to reservation rather than to a counter, so please book your table ahead — that way the kitchen is expecting you and the buffet is laid for the right numbers. We cater for all dietary requirements, including vegan and vegetarian, with notice.

You do not need to be staying with us to eat here. The restaurant is in the Skier Landgoed Eco Wildlife Estate on the Vaal Dam, 8 km from Oranjeville, 30 km from Deneysville and 130 km from Johannesburg (about 90 minutes).
